A taste of the Annual Membership

One morning where we go through elements from the same framework that runs through the whole membership year, condensed into a working session you can act on before lunch.

Bucket 01

Your performance.

Before you can lead anything well, you need to know who is doing the leading. I get you clear on your identity, your values, the version of yourself that the business actually needs not the one that has been running on adrenaline for three years. This is the foundation everything else builds on.

Bucket 02

Direction and goals.

Where is this actually going? We set goals with real pull for the business and for your health that ladder into a three and ten year picture. Most founders and senior leaders are rowing hard but not in the same direction as their own ambitions. You leave with clarity on the destination and the next three milestones to get there.

Buckets 03

Team and operations.

An audit of your actual week surfaces exactly where you are the ceiling. We build the handoff plan what gets delegated, what gets automated, what you stop doing entirely so the whole team is rowing in the same direction, and you are finally working on the business rather than in it.

Why it works

Built for people who never stop.

Years of running hot keep your stress response switched on. Useful in a sprint, corrosive over a decade: sustained cortisol disrupts sleep, narrows thinking and pushes you into reactive decisions. You cannot strategise from that state.

So I drop you out of it first, by the river in the UK's happiest city, Richmond. Time in nature measurably lowers cortisol, which is why we host the Pitstop at the Bingham.

Your host

Alex Ayin

I helped scale Social Chain from startup to IPO exit alongside Steven Bartlett and Dominic McGregor then sat on the executive team at THG through the UK's largest-ever tech IPO at £5.4bn. I've lived the all-hours scale-up life from the inside, which is why I built The Pitstop because I know that setting does not switch off on its own.

I've spoken at and advised founders, CEOs and C-suite leaders at Apple, Gymshark, Boohoo, L'Oréal, PLT, Adanola, Mars, 21st Century Fox, BBC, Frasers Group, KPMG and many more. The Pitstop is for those who know something has to change but haven't had the right room to figure out how.

"Empowering, energising, got me thinking with performance mindset ready to take on the world."

Kitty Poole, Leadership Professional

"The best two-hour talk I've ever attended. I'm feeling motivated and refreshed, and would recommend Alex in a heartbeat."

Frances Carter
COO, Cake Agency

"Brilliant and really actionable. So many things I want to repeat to my team."

Jess Haigh
CEO, Seedr

"The type of session that helps you think about how you show up in the world. Helped me show up better as a leader."

Katie Langdon
Senior Leader
The next step

The Pitstop is the entry point. The membership is where you fulfil your full potential.

Everything I do in this half day is a compressed version of the membership: identity and health first, the business architecture second, commitments before you leave. If the morning lands and you can see clearly what stepping back actually looks like the membership is the next step.
